TunIstra – Big Game Fishing
9. - 12.9.2026.TunIstra – Big Game Fishing returns this September to the waters off Poreč, where around 50 crews from Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy will compete in catching the largest tuna in the northern Adriatic. September is the ideal time for this type of fishing, as migrating routes of bluefin tuna pass along the western coast of Istria, bringing large specimens close to Poreč. Will any of the teams manage to catch a wild tuna weighing over 250 kilograms? That remains to be seen.

10.9.2026.The pinnacle of gastronomic delight was experienced at the Spinnaker Gourmet Stage, a series of special gourmet dinners at Valamar's Spinnaker restaurant. Last year’s edition, dedicated to tuna, was prepared by guest chef Marina Gaši from the seafood experience restaurant Marina in Novigrad, while the pairing of courses with premium wines was taken care of by the Tomac winery from Plešivica.
