TunIstra – Big Game Fishing
10. - 13.9.2025.TunIstra returns this September to the waters off Poreč, where around 50 teams from Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy will compete in the pursuit of the largest tuna in the northern Adriatic. September is the perfect time for big game fishing – during this period, the migratory routes of bluefin tuna pass along the western coast of Istria, bringing impressive specimens into the waters near Poreč. Will any of the teams manage to catch a wild tuna weighing over 250 kilograms? That remains to be seen.

11.9.2025.The pinnacle of gastronomic delight awaits you at Spinnaker Gourmet Stage, a series of special gourmet dinners at Valamar's Spinnaker restaurant.This year’s edition dedicated to tuna will be prepared by guest chef Marina Gaši from the seafood experience restaurant Marina in Novigrad, while the pairing of courses with premium wines will be taken care of by the Tomac winery from Plešivica.
